The broken wand is normal at the start. In Summer, Luna’s Magic of Crops sequence sends you to Sabrina for the repair and then teaches Aquaflux.
Quick answer
Advance Luna’s story until The Magic of Crops → visit Webb of Wonders, where Noel repairs the wand → return to Luna → cast Aquaflux on the quest Moonfruit tiles.

Read Luna’s Summer letter
The Magic of Crops begins after the required story progress. Visit Luna when the letter arrives.

Visit Webb of Wonders and let Noel repair the wand
Follow Luna’s instructions to Webb of Wonders. During the scene, Noel charms the damaged wand back into a usable state. Return to Luna for the lesson.

Cast Aquaflux on the quest crop
The mana display appears once magic is active. Water Luna’s Moonfruit plot with Aquaflux for two days to finish the tutorial sequence.

Rules that cause most confusion
- Normal water does not grow magic seeds.
- Rain does not substitute for Aquaflux on magical crops.
- You begin with three Mana points. One point recovers after each sleep; Mana Essence can restore more.
- Non-magical herbs still use the watering can.
- More spells are connected to Webb of Wonders and story progress.
