Unlock the Net and start catching Soul Blobs

The Net comes from Death after Misty Shores opens. You need two Death encounters, with a sleep between the relevant scenes.

Quick answer

Finish Orlock’s Wine Scheme → complete A Bridge Too Far → visit the Ambrosia Graveyard → sleep → enter town for the second Death scene and the Net.

Prerequisite quest chain

  1. Complete Orlock’s Wine Scheme.
  2. Start A Bridge Too Far.
  3. Pay Orlock’s 299G tab at The Broken Lamp.
  4. Speak with Mina, then Fiona.
  5. Recruit Sabrina, Luna and Noel.
  6. Return to the bridge and unlock Misty Shores.

Find Death twice

Catch bugs and Soul Blobs reliably

  • Walk rather than sprint when approaching; targets can flee.
  • Select the Net from the tool wheel and swing only when close.
  • Each swing costs stamina, so avoid random swings.
  • Soul Blobs are tracked in the Almanac rather than normal inventory.
  • Keep a selection of bugs; some magical crop requirements use them later.
