The barn is sold by Ridge at Howling Hammer. Bring 4,000G and clear a full 10×6 footprint before purchasing.

Prepare the footprint
The game needs a clear 10×6 rectangle. Remove crops, trees, rocks, machines and decoration from the full footprint before opening placement mode. Leave a walking lane to the door and space for future fencing.
Placement fails? A single hidden object, crop tile or blocked edge can invalidate the rectangle. Clear an extra border and try again.

What the first barn changes
The first barn holds four animals. Animals are purchased through Luna’s farm after the relevant progression. Do not spend the full 4,000G unless you still have enough money for feed, seeds and the next quest cost.
