1. Match the faceUse this portrait to identify Kim on the town map before crossing the whole map.2. Check the right routeThe Hosu route is story-gated. Continue coastline and family quests until the map portrait appears.3. Follow connected story scenesTalk to Rei after family or story quests change; connected scenes often move the route forward.
The portrait is the character’s actual game artwork. The gameplay frame shows the relevant area or system; it is not presented as a fixed daily schedule.
Who they are
Why Kim matters
Kim is intentionally absent from the earliest town routine. The Hosu characters are presented as discoveries rather than first-night introductions, so a spoiler-light guide should tell you when to stop searching rather than invent a location.
Where to find them
Do this instead of searching blindly
Do not waste opening-spring nights searching every shoreline. Continue the main family quests and unlock later areas; the map will begin showing the relevant portrait after the introduction.
Map rule: quest scenes and weather can override a normal routine. Check the portrait icon before crossing town.
Gifts
Testing plan — favorites incomplete
Favorite gifts remain hidden behind story access and are still being verified. Keep a few common gifts ready, but do not sacrifice collection or quest items.
The official Steam roster confirms the portrait and romance availability. First appearance and role information is cross-checked against launch guides. Exact daily schedules and gift lists are intentionally not invented where launch-week testing remains incomplete.
