Do this in order
- Step 1
Collect permanent Energy upgrades from story rewards, exploration and upgrade systems.
- Step 2
Use the status screen to distinguish permanent maximum Energy from temporary food buffs.
- Step 3
Obtain the final permanent upgrade and sleep or reload the area if the maximum updates without the achievement.

Keep spare materials, coins and one free inventory row. For cumulative goals, use the collection or status menus instead of guessing from a single night.
